We have a superb set up for racehorse training, with at the present time, 22 boxes, a 5-horse walker, 35 acres of grazing with small turnout patches, a lunge ring, plenty of variety of schooling jumps/ nursery fences

We believe that the jumping is of utmost importance for National Hunt racehorses, and as confidence grows with the horse so their performance improves and so we therefore have a large selection of logs, tyres, cross-country and show jumping fences before we graduate to the hurdles and chase fences as required

We have a great all-weather gallop in the shape of a number 6, with a 2 furlong circle at the bottom and a long gradual climb up the straight of about 7 furlongs. The pasada surface copes really well with the rain and has only frozen at the lowest of temperatures, and even then a quick trip up with the grader and it is usable again

The 5-horse walker is used as an addition to, rather than a substitute for, our other training methods. We are constantly trying to improve and upgrade our facilities in the hope this leads to an improvement in performance on the racecourse.
