Elgar
10 years old, by Alflora out of School Run (ex Deep Run)
Since joining us Elgar has run 5 times, winning 4 and being placed 3rd on the other run. He won on seasonal debut rated just 85 and is now climbing the ladder and is on a mark of 120
Working Late
5 years old, by Night Shift out of All The Luck (ex Mr Prospector)
Was purchased out of Dessie Hughes' yard having won 2 novice hurdles in Ireland 2006 with the intention of running over hurdles here, but the wettest winter for sometime has frustrated our efforts. We cannot wait to see him novice chasing in the new season. One for the notebook.
Zaffrani's Star
6 years old, homebred by Zaffaran out of Slipstream Star (ex Slip Anchor)
This tall, rangey individual has taken some time to mature physically and still has some way to go, but is pleasing greatly in his work and attitude and should be seen to good effect either in his bumpers or more realistically in time when he jumps obstacles and runs over a trip.
Another Tootsie
6 years old homebred by Overbury out of Tap on Tootsie (ex Faustus)
Made an eye-catching point-to-point debut last season when finishing 6th only beaten 12 lengths by the winner. She has greatly improved physically over the last year and is expected to make a bold show when reappearing in points this time. She will not be running in points for too long as this mare has a real future on the track. One to watch.
